A. Re:coil is a curl cream that adds separation and hold without stiffness or stickiness. It's perfect for achieving soft, defined curls for a broad range of curl types. It’s rich in the Curl Creating Complex, which helps to nourish and define your curls while keeping them soft.

If you air dry with Re:coil, your hair will likely be left with a slight cast that you can shake out. By diffusing, results will be more soft, bouncy, curls. Curl Fresh Definer activates your curls, adds definition, and leaves hair feeling smooth, nourished and shiny. A community favourite, it has been described by many as their one-and-done and can be applied to both damp and dry hair, as well as used again to refresh throughout the day.

Air dry or diffuse based on your preference. Curl Fresh Definer tends not to leave a cast but may have more hold/retention if left to air dry. Curl Fresh Definer is recommended for fine-medium hair textures.

This change aims to provide clearer expectations for our customers regarding the product's performance. The formula, despite discrepancies in the labels that are working through the marketplace, has not changed.

Love-Hate Relationship

"Love the way the shampoo and conditioner make my hair feel: soft and smooth. Love the argan smoothing oil for the shine. Love the Recoil curl cream. Not a fan of Liquid Effects gel: Feels sticky, but I don't really need it because we have very low humidity. But overall Hate the scent (stench), especially the shampoo. I will use the products because i like the way my hair feels, but won't buy again. My shower and hairwash is my relaxing time, and the stench of the shampoo is too strong to allow for the spa experience."

Finally found a product that works!

"I have super fine and thinning curly hair. I have struggled for so long trying to find a product that was heavy enough to maintain my frizz, but light enough to not weigh my hair down. But this product is it! It defines my hair perfectly without it looking crunchy or wet. Its lightweight enough that my hair still looks thick and voluminous. But it’s just heavy enough to control all my frizz. I’m honestly upset I didn’t find it sooner!"

Am I using this wrong

"There are minimal instructions on this bottle, but I use it as it says — scrunching it into damp hair. It definitely works to define my curls but they get so crispy and plastic-like I feel like Shirley temple. I don’t use a lot, but the soft light natural curls without gel-like hold is no where near what I’m experiencing. I continue to check the bottle wondering if I somehow am using the wrong product, but it;definitely recoil. If someone could point me in the direction of tutorials for best use for fine, wavy hair, I’d love to get the full value of this product and figure out what I’m doing wrong. I thought I saw one when I was purchasing but cannot find it anywhere. Send help!"
