The intense violet base also neutralizes tones in brunette and highlighted hair and enhances and deepens black hair colour. Massage into wet hair and rinse. A. When used as directed and not as an overnight leave-on treatment in porous hair, this will not turn hair violet.

A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

"This shampoo is great! My hair is nearly all white and I add low lights to it. Well, before the shampoo my style would look great for a couple of weeks, but then my white would start to yellow and the brown would take on brassy notes. While I appreciate that your carbon footprint is now smaller from a manufacturing standpoint, is that not offset by the fact that the containers for your shampoos are no longer recyclable, and are now contributing to landfills? Unfortunately I will no longer be purchasing your products due to the problematic nature of the packaging.: That is correct, our refill pouches are made of mixed plastics, and unfortunately the inner film that lines and protects the product is not recyclable at this time, the cap is recyclable. While recyclable pouches are very limited in our current market, we can share that our team continuously strives to improve our products and is actively on the lookout for better, sustainable packaging materials, including recyclable refill pouches, which we are currently testing. This recent change significantly reduces the number of plastic bottles in the landfill, are 73% less plastic than our previous 1L bottles and take 62% less energy to produce. By launching these refill pouches we encourage everyone to refill their 8oz, 10oz and 12oz bottles at home to be reused again and again. We offer Post-consumer regrind (PCR) across all classic collection retail-size shampoo and conditioner bottles and Aluminum Alloy in our 12oz Plant-Based Essential Collections.
