A. Re:coil is a curl cream that adds separation and hold without stiffness or stickiness. It's perfect for achieving soft, defined curls for a broad range of curl types. It’s rich in the Curl Creating Complex, which helps to nourish and define your curls while keeping them soft.
If you air dry with Re:coil, your hair will likely be left with a slight cast that you can shake out. By diffusing, results will be more soft, bouncy, curls. Curl Fresh Definer activates your curls, adds definition, and leaves hair feeling smooth, nourished and shiny. A community favourite, it has been described by many as their one-and-done and can be applied to both damp and dry hair, as well as used again to refresh throughout the day.
Air dry or diffuse based on your preference. Curl Fresh Definer tends not to leave a cast but may have more hold/retention if left to air dry. Curl Fresh Definer is recommended for fine-medium hair textures.

Q. Will Re:coil weigh down my wavy hair?
A. Re:coil is recommended for most hair types. A little goes a long way! For finer waves, we might suggest taking a look at Curl Fresh Definer.

Not my cuppa

"I have naturally curly defined 3b/c hair, so don't need much. Always wanted to try this so I was happy to have received a sample. I would not recommend this product if you like your hair natural and soft. It feels very sticky, and leaves a residue. Instead of absorbing into my hair, it feels like there’s a coating sitting on it. If the product gets on your hands, face, or neck, it has that sticky sensation. I also found I could constantly feel the product in my hair, which made it feel weighed down. It's not my cup of tea, but it may be somebody else's."

Free Sample was worth it

"I wouldn't have considered buying this, as I have tried other brands that make these kind of products and dislike how your hair can become crispy. I am a red head with wavy hair and natural soft curls when I have layers, a little dry sometimes that can get a little frizzy if I don't have my usual Argan oil on. This did that the slightest feeling of crispiness after putting on my clean damp hair, but once it dried naturally and I had run my hands through my hair, it felt very soft and not at all crispy. The next day after I woke up, my hair was very full and my natural soft waves were very bouncy and my hair looked nicely conditioned and soft. I think I may start buying this."
