Q. What happened to the Liquid Effects Extra-Firm Lotion?
A. We updated the product's label to better align with the user experience and feedback we’ve received from our valued customers. The new name, "Medium-Hold Weightless Styling Gel," reflects the product’s lightweight gel consistency, which differs from the previous label description as "Liquid Effects Extra Firm lotion". This change aims to provide clearer expectations for our customers regarding the product's performance. The formula, despite discrepancies in the labels that are working through the marketplace, has not changed.

Q. What makes AG formulas unique? 
A. AG formulas are free of drying sulfates, are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. All our formulas meet or exceed leading “clean” ingredient programs. Great product, cleaner & kinder formulas.

Q: Should refill pouches be shaken before use?
A: We recommend shaking the pouch before refilling as its natural ingredients can occasionally cause separation.

Q: How many bottles can the 1L refill pouch fill?
A: Our refill pouches will fill our aluminum 12oz bottle 2.8 times, our 10oz shampoos 3.2 times and our 8oz conditioners 4.1 times!

Q: What is the shelf life of the 1L refill pouch after it’s been open?
A: 12 months.

Q: How do I extend the life of my bottles to reuse as long as possible?
A: Our bottles can easily be rinsed, dried and used multiple times!

Q: Are refill pouches recyclable?
A: AG pouches are not currently recyclable due to an inner layer required to protect the stability of AG formulas. However, the caps are recyclable and our pouches use 73% less plastic and take 62% less energy to produce than our previous litre bottles leaving a smaller footprint and generating fewer CO2 emissions.

"I have silver, white and gray hair which comes with its own issues. Plus my traditionally wavy hair has gone full curly with menopause. It has always been thick, a little course with annoying frizz. This leave-in conditioner is absolutely amazing. My hair just soaks it in and my new curls stay nice. I no longer have the weird halo around my head from extra frizziness. I strongly recommend this product for people with thicker hair! I suspect it might be overkill for thin hair."

"I received this products part of a surprise gift package my daughter gets monthly. She gave it to me since she gets her hair done weekly. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised! With all the money I spend on hair products. . . this is by far the best and probably least expensive!!! It's easy to use. . leave on. . I don't need any other products, although I tried it with a little gel last time and that was ok. . . NO FRIZZ!!! just beautiful curls!!! I think I will stick with this after I use up the other products my stylist talked me into. . . thatI never am happy with. I will also try their gel after I use mine up. :)"

Incredibly softening leave-in, just make sure to apply it to barely-damp hair to avoid a white cast!

"I have been using this leave-in conditioner for a couple of months now, and my hair absolutely loves it! It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and so good. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the application process. If your hair is too wet when you apply it, it leaves a white cast that looks a bit weird. I’ve found that you need to make sure your hair is less than damp—but not completely bone dry—before putting it in. Once you get that timing down, it works incredibly well!"

The nose knows. . . .

"I am all about the smells. If something is 'clean or flowery' it stays in the store. My eyes and nose will REBEL to the extent of water works and itchiness that will not stop. I have used the old formula for several months and being an older, white women born with naturally curly, unruly, baby fine red hair, everything I tried would cause more frizz. . . . nightmare beyond belief. Now my polar bear white naturally curly hair is more manageable than ever before with AG Fast food (old formula). Shall see if the new formula is a yes or no in the coming days. If not, back to trying to find something that works . . . . Fingers crossed."

Light scent, gret curl even in humidity

"This product is fairly thick when it comes out, but spreads out well when you put it in your hair. It has a very light scent that reminds me of red twizzlers - not overwhelming or overpowering at all. This also isn’t greasy feeling. I have very fine curly hair and the humidity where i live makes my hair do its own thing most days. This product consistently worked in keeping my curls defined even with the humidity where I am. In my post you can see my before kind of all over curls, then how defined and together they stayed after running the product through. I got this to try for my honest opinion from Influenster, would be worth buying for sure. 9/10"

"I purchased this bundle after my Hairdresser use it on me and I had great results. I purchased a small bottle of recoil from a salon to use, but on its own it was too dry. The lead conditioner doesn’t leave my hair hydrated and soft, but I’m not sure if the gel has given me much hold."

Leave-On Conditioner

"I received this AG Care Fast Food Leave-On Conditioner to try in exchange for my honest review. I have curly hair that is sometimes difficult to tame and is often lacking frizz control and hydration. This product has certainly helped with that. It smells great and makes my hair feel smooth. I did find it somewhat difficult to get the product out of the squeeze bottle. I also found that a little product goes a long way! I have been putting a little bit in my wet hair and styling as usual. Overall, great product!"

A MUST HAVE for my thick and coily hair babes.

"This is one of the BEST leave in conditioners I’ve ever used. It makes the hair soft when blow drying. Theres no residue left on the hair. It literally makes the hair feel baby soft. I add it while it’s wet after the blow dry lotion and before the humidity spray to help with silk presses and I’m left with an incredible shine and moisturized hydrated hair. To the point where there has been no need to go in with a flat iron after."

"This is a true leave in the hair, after shampooing, conditioner. I have very curly hair and by leaving this product on my hair, combing it thru, it detangles my hair, defines my curls and give them bounce.
